Born and raised in Maryland, I am a bookworm, Whovian, honorary Gilmore Girl, aspiring cosplayer, Shakespeare enthusiast, and frequent visitor to the Marvel and DC Comics universes. I spent most of my young life working to become a novelist, while simultaneously developing a love of cinema. At age three, I was quoting The Wizard of Oz. In college, I started reading screenplays and realized my creative style was more suited to movies. I dove into the study of film and have been in love with it ever since.
I graduated Cum Laude from Stevenson University with a degree in Film/Video/Theatre and produced my first independent short film, The Stranger, in June of 2010, which I also wrote (adapted from the book), directed and edited. Since, I have worked as Script Supervisor (Enemy of the Reich: Noor Inayat Khan Story, Sally Pacholok, The Rangers), Videographer and Editor (Book Smithed, The Great American Wheat Harvest). I also worked five consecutive summers for the School of Creative and Performing Arts – an organization specialized in the education of film, acting, dance and photography for young adults.
Currently, I’m self-publishing a novelization of the web series Genre Wars: Resistance Rising.
By day, I work for DUO Media Productions as a full-time editor and writer. DUO Media is an award winning, full service media production company serving national and international clients in the Washington, DC area. Our video production services span all phases of a project; from concept development through distribution, and any part thereof.
